After years in the insurance industry, we knew we wanted to create an insurance experience that treated each individual customer as family instead of merely categorizing them based on marital status, age or whether they own or rent their home. Creating a customer-centric insurance brokerage that would move beyond the stereotypically transactional relationship between customer and broker was a concept born in 2012 between OpenTrack co-founder, Jerod Blakestad, and myself.
